It
is Monday morning - 5:30 am and John Wynberg is setting out to the
pool.
John
has been setting out to “ The Pool” for the past eleven years
training in a squad covering some 3.5 kilometres per session,
four times a week.
One
of John’s loves is competitive swimming. Some of John’s swimming
record as a junior champion stood for 20 years before they were
broken. More recently he has claimed gold medals at State and National
level in Masters Swimming.
John’s
involvement over the years in swimming, junior soccer, junior
athletics and Australian football as a coach, administrator or participant,
was acknowledged during the lead up to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games
with the presentation to John of an inaugural Australian Sports
Medal.
In
business, as in sport, whether as a consultant, coach or managing
director, John has applied the same drive and sense of purpose to
develop a raft of skills and techniques that have consistently
achieve extraordinary results.
In
the tough climate of the Australian Fashion Industry during the
early nineties, with an initial capital of $25,000, John, turned
a start up swimwear business into a ten million dollar market leader
in just 4 years.
John
is the first to admit there is never one single key to success,
however success always leaves clues and to-day you have the opportunity
to share some of the clues that have worked for John and the organizations
and people that he has worked with.
